Hunee Bee Hunt Item from Shapes by Kira

New! Lilia Child Avatar - Skin and Shape Combo

Lilia Child is the newest skin and shape from Shapes by Kira and Corrupted Innocence. This skin matches the new Lilia adult skin that was fresh on the shelves this past week and her shape was created from the Lilia adult shape so that the child avatar looks very similar to the adult form.

This is a great set for mother and daughter or buy them separately. Lilia Child shape is copy/modify and sells for $800L. The skins come with 4 options. With or without a hairbase and without or without a bathing suit. When I decided to do a child skin, I wanted to make a skin that was anatomically correct. So many child avatars in SL wear adult skins that just do not look right with a lot of clothes they wear. I have created Lilia so that she looks like a little girl no matter what you wear on her. The skins are $600L for the pack but you can save by buying the combination of the skin and shape together for only $1000L.

COPY/MOD Shapes in Our Lucky Chairs and Shops and Sims to Rent/Buy!

The newly remodeled Corrupted Innocence boasts a beautiful setting, shops available to rent (***If you are looking for a shop to rent, parcel to rent, or a sim to rent or buy, please read below!!!!), and a slew of new free items just for you! Kira Paderborn has created a dozen copy/mod shapes to coordinate with Tuli's skins lines. These shapes are sold for 800L each at Tuli and at Corrupted Innocence. However, for now, they are also found in two lucky chairs on the Corrupted Innocence sim, in the main store. Don't miss these and the other great things that we are in the process of adding to the sim. Here are pictures of the shapes that you can find in the lucky chairs followed by information about the shops for rent, parcels for sale, sim for rent, and sim for sale.

Now, about the SHOPS FOR RENT!

Corrupted Innocence is known for housing some of the best and most realistic international shapes in SL. It is also home to 1 Prim Wonders the most incredible one prims sculpts you have ever seen, Magnifico, Orquidea, Corrupted Hair, Corrupted Men, and By Alexxis. It is nestled between Flawless (home to Shapes by Kira) and Skin Oasis (home to B&B Skins and More). There is a good flow of customers between the three sims. Corrupted Innocence also houses The Venue, a live music venue that brings in live groups and singers and holds open mic nights, several times a week. (The Venue is also currently up for sale. If you are interested in purchasing this club, please see the attached info.)The sim has a completely new look and we have opened up an area with store rentals. The stores are large and are all on their own parcels so you can have a say in the music that is on your parcel and you can set a tp point for your parcel as well as give your parcel your store name. *To show your store under "Places" in search costs 30L/week extraRental is by the week with a 4 week minimum agreement. Ever wanted your own business on a sim that is already established as a buisness sim? On a sim that already gets regular traffic? Corrupted Innocence could be the place for you!! The club is currently for sale at a low cost plus the monthly rent. You can turn this venue into whatever you want and be your own boss! It is a mature sim with good traffic so you'll be able to have a good flow into your club. Keep the club that's there or set your own club down. Even rebuild if you choose. It is entirely up to you.New owners will be permitted to have an additional 550 prims if they choose to keep the club as it is and 800 prims if they choose to use their own club.The top floor and areas to the right and left of the entrance are perfect for adding some small shops so that you can bring in some extra money. This club features its own landing point and is listed in search (I will pay the $30L weekly fee to keep it listed). SIM FOR RENT OR SALE

I have a class 5 full sim (15000 prims) for sale or for rent. Rental price is set so that you can make a profit by renting it out. I only charge you what it costs me. You can pay in USD or in Lindens. Cost to rent the full sim is $295 USD/month paid to my paypal account or $82,000L paid to my SL account each month. Price to buy the sim is $600 USD. KAKAUE HUNT

OK the time has arrived finally! The Kakaue hunt kicks off today, October 1st! I am going to show you some more of the fab stuff that has been put out for this hunt.

Taila Saenz of L&M Furniture has this awesome Blackflower Chillout Set out for the hunt. This is really cool furniture, I love the contemporary look to the couch so much I will be putting it out when I go back to living in a house someday.

Sculpty yummilicious ankle boots from Magnifico, If you haven't checked out the shoes here, you may want to do that, like soon. Lots of different styles and make sure to check out the Envy boot, My personal favorite. :)

KAKAUE HUNT STARTS SOON

The Kakaue Hunt begins October 1st, that is one week away so I thought I should start showing you some of the goodies that can be had on this hunt.

Luxus Designs has a complete lounge area, a chaise lounge, fern in a black planter, floor pillow and floor lamp.

Inga Wind Clothing has the 'Peggy In Red' for the hunt item and it is the most adorable outfit, or I should say outfits because it is one of those 2 in one deals. Peggy comes complete with the matching pumps too. The outfit has red beret, the two layer look top with tie, a cute ruffle skirt, and pants with cute tie cuffs. Both versions are just too fun and one of my new favorite outfits right now.

Coming Soon...New Skin and The Kakaue Hunt

It's been quiet over here at Corrupted Innocence, but that is because there is a brand new, very improved, much anticipated skin to be released this Friday. I have been wearing Eva for a few months (the unfinished version) and I cannot tell you how many people have asked about it. Get excited for this one! I know I am.

Also, Many of you may already know about the Kakaue Hunt that is getting ready to start here on October 1st. I have the goodies to show you that will be in the hunt and OMG you gotta see these prezzies! I will be posting pictures soon, so stay tunned.

The GoGo 2 Boot & new mens sculpted shoes

Remember the Go Go Boots from Kakaue Kreations? Well, a second version has been released, a different texture to see this time for those of you that prefer a more textured look as opposed to the solid color. Also these have a nicely done zipper on the side and a optional chain with optional metal choices around the ankle of the boot. As in the first Go Go, the special is the fatpack where you get all 12 colors and the hud to change them at the push of a button. Easy to move on to next outfit by just changing the color of your boot from a drop down. Here are a few pictures I took of me with the boots on and then one showing you all the colors available.

I really like these boots and the color change is the final grip that wins me because it is so nice to just click to change and match a new outfit, I know, I am lazy like that. Stop by Kakaue Kreations and try out a demo.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you a little sneak peek at my new skin I am working on! Her name is Eva and this is a completely untouched photo of her using the Redgrave presets for Windlight that you can pick up at the landing point for Shapes by Kira. The shape is my new Eva shape that I created to go along with the skin. Eva will come with the option of a hair base and other options too. The bikini in the picture is from Susanti Creations by Nit Susanti! Nit makes really great pajamas too so if you are looking for something that will win you contests at clubs, or just wanna be cute, head over to her store!

After almost 2 years, many tears, frustrations, giving up, restarting, throwing tantrums to throwing the mouse or keyboard, the day has at last, arrived. *bounces and squeeks* Kira has finally finished her first female skin line and today is the BIG Day! Friday July 17th at 12PM SLT, the ENVY skin line will officially be available at both Corrupted Innocence and Shapes By Kira. I have been waiting for this day for EVAR! I have watched her over the last year almost daily work on them, I have about 5million 'look at these' copies, so, this is quite exciting for me too! They are beautiful and I hope you all will enjoy them as well.

Kira Paderborn is so excited to bring to you her new skin called ENVY. We all know Kira for her shapes as the owner of Shapes by Kira and Corrupted Innocence. But this week, Kira is releasing her much anticipated woman's skin line at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 17, 2009 at both her Shapes by Kira and Corrupted Innocence stores.

Kira is launching the new skin line beginning with an exclusive free preview skin available to all of her group members and subscrib-0-matic members on Wednesday. The skin is the light tan tone with two different styles of makeup and brown brows. This version of the skin will not ever be sold to the public.

Envy comes in six skin tones each with six makeups and four brow options. She works well with a variety of body types and ethnicities. This first edition of the ENVY skins have a more natural style of make-up. Kira has plans to create bolder and brighter make-up for her next release.

The Flawless Date Auction, Shapes by Kira and the Flawless sim, and the Corrupted Innocence sim bring you a very fun photo contest that does not require anyone to pay to vote for you. Contestants will pick up a free HUD, join the Flawless Date Auction and the Date Auction group, and take a picture of themselves wearing one item from either the Flawless or Corrupted Innocence sims. They must show an emotion with their picture. Photos will be judged by the contest owners. Prizes are as follows:

1st prize - $10,000L + $5,000L in gift certificates
2nd prize - $5000L + $2500L in gift certificates

Just in time for the 4th of July, Kira Paderborn has added a freebie outfit (available to any member of Shapes by Kira, Corrupted Innocence, or Flawless) perfect for that party at the beach or hanging out at a friend's house. The camisole style top has an Americana star on the front and the short shorts are accented with matching stars at the front pocket. So, I guess we inspired him or he was bored today or something but the outcome is new, pretty, scutlpted toes! Three new shapes

Just released at Corrupted Innocence are three new shapes by Kira Paderborn. These shapes were designed to be worn with darker skins for a more ethnic look. However, as you can see, they work well with many other skin types too. Come on down to Corrupted Innocence and try a demo. Kira's shapes are all sold with copy/mod rights and can also be bought either copy only or transfer only. Style cards are included with purchases as well as lashes fitted to the shape.

NEW TULI SKIN, HOPE AND NEW SHAPES FOR IT!

I am sure most of you have heard about Tuli's new skin, Hope. What a beauty she has made this time. This is my personal favorite of them all. I have worn it non-stop since receiving it. I also like Faith on me but Hope... WOW!

Well, Kira and Alexxis work with Tuli making shapes for her skins. Kira has made three fantastic shapes to go with the Hope skin. I will show you the new shapes (out today) as well as some of the different make up versions on two of the new shapes.

The makeup's on Tuli's Hope skins are just amazing. I really like some of the effects she did with the eyeshadows. They look really pretty on because, I think, normally I go for a more bland shadow color but when I wore these I really liked the look a lot. It isn't too 'loud' and yet it is a bit different. The perfect balance. I also think that the colors of the lips are refreshing and, as with the eyes, she balanced tones so they were not natural, but also not bright, loud colors. I cannot find any flaws at all on this skin, it is seemlessly perfect. As Tuli has been doing now she gives you the skin in each black, blonde, red, and brown eyebrow colors. I wish I would have done a blond photo because as I am usually blond and us blonds know how hard it is to find good blond hair and even more so a skin with good blond eyebrows, as Tuli's has.

The first shape I will show you is the Hope shape (not sure why we don't see more shapes named the same as the skin they were created for). Hope was created for Tuli's Hope skins but, as with all of Kira's shapes, Hope has been tested with a variety of other skins also to assure that no matter what skin you wear on her, you will look fabulous.

NEW BOOTS FROM KAKAUE KREATION

Kakaue Kreations @ Corrupted Innocence has just released a new boot, which I am very honored to present to you because it was named after lil ol me! WOOT! *feels all special and stuff*

The Tesa Boot is a fun and spunky, knee high, tie up on 2 sides, all sculpted boot. It is available in 14 different colors, so there is probably a color to match many of your favorite outfits.

The 'special' is the fatback which gives you all 14 colors via a hud that you can change both the color of the boot and/or the color of the laces. I like how I can mix in 2 colors to my outfit when I need a little extra color to pull it together. You will notice that some of the color's are not that of typical shoe color out there, there are some really bright, beautiful, fun, screaming I am not another fall or winter boot. Also with the laces on both sides it does leave a very airy warm weather feel to these boots, In the fall I will toss on some tights or legwarmers.

CALLIE CLINE APPRECIATION!

As I am sure most of you know, today we celebrate the one and only Callie Cline. I am not surprised that she did all of this for the bloggers because that is how Callie is, thinks of other people all the time. I was very surprised by all that came from this though. Not only did we get showered, well poured on with gifts from designers all over the grid but we found new friends and have connected to other bloggers that I know personally really enjoy their company. We had a group for the duration of this event, and so many of us requested that we keep the group that we are working on just that. This is all thanks to you Callie, you brought us together, you spread sun shine just as you always do, THANK YOU!

To all the designers, I was going to do individual thank you cards to each, but I would be here until next year. So many very, very nice gifts and words, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

Fashionable Relay Challenge 33

FINALLY, it is my turn for the Fashionable Relay Challenge that Sasy Scarborough started nearly three months ago! Yay, I have been waiting for this. And a big thanks to Nieve Thor for putting together such a great outfit that I had a hard time choosing which one thing I wanted to use. The only item that I had from her blog was the Digit Darkes Tulle Skirt in Black which was used in Zoe Demar's blog challenge and then re-used by Nieve. So that was out of the running straight off the bat. The next thing that really caught my eyes was the red choker from *ICING*. So, I ran out and bought it straight away to build my outfit around it. However, after gathering the things I wanted to wear, I decided that the look I had was too, ummmm, normal. So, I neatly packed away the choker for later use and ran out to get the +plus*Summer Essence Bangle in Red* from +Plus! I think in the end, I put together an outfit that reflects my personality.

I created a special makeup for myself using one of the skins from my new Flawless Skins line called Envy. I will be selling this skin by request only at the moment as my skins are not ready for a full release (I am finishing up the makeup options still.) and along with that, I wore the Envy shape which was created especially for photographing the skins. Envy is also available on request and will soon be sold at Corrupted Innocence to the general public.

When I signed up for this challenge, I was hoping that I would be able to use a skirt made by my friend Daphne Daehlie at her ve.ne'ra.re store. It is a black chiffon skirt that you can either wear with pants under or a system skirt. The pants are a little lower around the waist so they tend to show a bit of belly with tops that you wear it with. Shmexy! So, I had my bangles and my skirt and my red lipped skin and wanted to find a top that went with the skirt. Glancing at the bangles, I realized that they were the same color as the red Beverly top made by Candy Enoch of A Piece of Candy. So, I tried that with the skirt from ve.ne'ra.re and voila....I had the base of my outfit.

I wanted to wear shoes that were dressy but that were not what I call "hooker" shoes so I turned to another good friend, Kakaue Yoshikawa from Kakaue Kreation and dug into my inventory for a pair of peep toes that matched perfectly. The problem is that I was not crazy about the bare leg showing. It didn't go with the overall look that I was going for. A few weeks ago, when I went to +JILL+ I saw some great tights that were FREE! One of them was a black pair with a red diamond disign all over them. I decided to try them and was so happy when I saw how great they looked. They completely tied the look together.

I was looking for some rose colored pearls to go with the outfit and stumbled upon a hair rose from Usagui that was burried in my over 160,000 item inventory (yeah, I swear it is really that big) and when I saw it I knew I had to wear that and the H2L Kaori hair that it was made to go with. I didn't forget about my pearls, though, as it turns out, they were cranberry and not rose colored. They are from a great jewelry store called Bonita's Jewelry that has low priced items that are done really well. The thing I love about these pearls is that they are actually in two pieces. They can be worn as the long piece, or the choker part, or you can combine the two and wear them both at the same time. So creative!

So I looked at myself and thought that there was something missing. I needed a bit of shine......some bling, minus the bling. I grabbed my favorite belt from Ume Mode which has color changing parts and was looking for some earrings when I remembered that I had a monocle from Sanu that I got from the lucky chair. Earrings would have been mostly hidden by the hair but the monocle stood out perfectly and gave my outfit that last little piece of quirkiness that it needed to be me. In the end, I looked like a gypsy or a Spanish/Piratey/Librarian as one of my friends put it. I really liked the look and wanted a great way to display it. With my creamy white skin, I reminded myself of a porcelain doll. So I went looking for a shelf to place myself on. No need to look very far. I just ran down to Ponk Bing's 1 Prim Wonders store and grabbed one of the one prim shelves to place my accessories and myself on. I put me and all of the accessories on the top shelf and snapped away. Honestly, if you have not seen Ponk's things, OMG, you have to! That shelf I am standing on is only half of the shelf and Ponk's prices cannot be beat! The shelf is complete with books, and a vase ( on the lower section - not pictured) all for only ONE PRIM!!!

Honestly, I had a great time doing this challenge and I would like to thank Sasy for putting this all together and Nieve for giving me plenty to choose from with her blogged outfit. Ponk Bing IS the master sculpty maker, if you don't believe me then you need to come take a look. Ponk can make almost anything you ask him to in one prim, yes, one prim. It will not be crapy textures or look like one prim, it is good well done high quality stuff.

Ponk has just decided to put his things up for sale. Before this he wasn't interested in selling his creations. He enjoyed the process, the figuring out how to build whatever he was working on. Then it was shoved away into his inventory. But we have finally convinced him that people need these items. People have such limited prims but don't want poor quality in trade. These skins have been tested on several different shapes, seeing that Kira is a shape maker and has one of the largest selection of shapes in SL. The skin looked great on most all the shapes we tried so we are confident you will like the way it looks on yours. When I went to the RFL clothing fair I stumbled upon the store ElDee and fell in love immediatly. The RFL dress was the first thing I bought when I saw how well made it was and so adorable, I knew I had to get more of this designer; Lilyana Dryke's creations. The RFL dress and some other outfits at the fair have that pirate feel, but not so much that they look like a costume or something. Which fit with the the theme of her store there which was a pirate type ship, too cute. Anyway, I proceeded to buy about one of everything there, then I went to her main store, and found even more that I proceeded to get. That is another perk with Lilyana's things, they are very reasonably priced.

I IM'd friends to tell them about this little gold mine I found, some had already found her and never told me! The nerve! Anyway a couple days pass and then Poohta (the manager over ALBERO) IM's me and informs me that we now have ElDee at ALBERO! I was like oh YAY I have all of her stuff so I can easily get some pictures taken & blog her right away. I was excited to get to show you all. But, it doesn't end there. Then I am back at work at my main place which is Corrupted Innocence/Flawless where Kira and I were working on preperations for our media review party. I go to show her some of the ElDee stuff I found and she says, "oh I asked her to join Corrupted Innocence" LOL. So, now ElDee has a store here as well. The other night Lilyana and I hung out for a while and she is the sweetest girl, I am so pleased to have this talented designer nice and close so I get to see all new releases from here out. WOOT.

Okay, lets get on to the pictures!

First up is the Viva and Thaana. These are perfect spring dresses. They are sleeveless, bright spring colors in layers of airy flowing fabric finished off with pretty ribbon ties. This is just a sample of the many colors available, so please visit to see the entire selection.

Next is the Kiki. Kiki also comes in more colors then the sample I have shown here. This ensemble includes high waist trousers that sort of have a sailor pant feel to them with a beautiful silky halter top and a scarf to finish off.The textures are just beautiful subtle hints of color bring it together perfectly.

The Kali Dress is an plaid print with ruffles layered under the knee length skirt, the back has cute ribbon that ties in a small bow adding a little extra spark to the back of the dress. These look great in many different ways too, heels for a casual dress or put on some engineer boots and stockings and change it up completely.

Ok, now my naughty and nice duo. The Panze, which is the 'nice', is full of colorful pansy's on a light springy/summer fabric. The Zana on the other hand is a bit on the more risque side, showing more skin and no flowers here, it's time to get wild when you put Zana on.

My last item to show you, is one which I feel very close too, being that I wore it for like a week straight, or it felt like I did. I had camera resolution trouble with the new viewer and had to retake these photos 3 times LOL (don't ask, i'm still sort of new so haven't learned some things that I am choosing to learn the hard way, I like to do things the hard way, waist time and get behind on everything. It's cool *insert sarcastic face*). Anyway, the Culpa and I, spent a lot of time together and I can't tell you how many compliments I received when wearing it. I will just leave it there that is all that needs to be said.

First of all, I would like to tell you that I have created an outfit in the spirit of giving to help aid the Relay for Life. I attended the Press Preview of The Armoire: A Jewelry Showcase where I viewed beautiful new jewelry from Balderdash, .::eyecandy::., KessKreations, Muse, and Violet Voltaire. All I can say is WOW! What a treat it was to see the gorgeous shiny jewels displayed, these ladies have so much talent and eye for awesome design. I of course came with lindens in my hand, ready to shop and I did just that. I plan on returning to get some of the goodies from Eyecandy, she is torturing us and making us wait to get our hands on them. Makes for a nice excuse to going back anyway hehe. So, because it is almost 3AM and I have a full RL day again tomorrow, this is going to be quick and to the pictures of what I bought. Thank you for a lovely time, I ran into many friends, met a few new ones, and got new pretty shiny sparkly yummys, can't beat that.

Here is a little bit about the event for those of you that haven't heard about it yet, it's not just a jewelry show *grins*

For five days (March 18 - 22), you are invited to a special trunk-show designed to showcase finely crafted jewelry. Five designers (Candy Cerveau, Caliah Lyon, Violet Voltaire, Kesseret Steeplechase, and Saiyge Lotus) have created a mystical labyrinth with living dioramas that reflect the moods of their collections. In each of these rooms, models will showcase these jeweler's wares, with a pavilion for purchases nestled at the center of the maze. The Journeyman's Quest is the hunt challenge within this event, yielding jewelry (including limited edition items) for the tenacious journeyman jeweler. See jewelry in a way that you haven't before!

I have been watching Aliza work on her skins for many months now, and let me tell you, she is very hard on herself. The fact that she has finally released some of her creations is reason to celebrate. There have been many that didn't meet her standards, although they certainly met mine. I guess my point is that she is very particular, which I think is a good trait to have in a designer, and especially in a skin designer. I mean this is our SKIN, we need perfection right?

These Boots Are Made For Walking

We Haz Go Go Boots! Kakaue of Kakaue Kreation has made these awesome new boots, and they are lickalicious. These came to be because Kira found a picture of these boots online and fell in love with them. She then begged Kakaue to make them for her and BAM! we reap the benefits too. YAY! Here is the photo that inspired.

They come in 9 different colors, or if you buy the special, you get all colors and the optional rings. The hud changes both the color of the boot and the rings. With the rings you can pick any color you want in the color pallet. These have really great textures and if you do get the special package with color change they are quite useful for many different looks. In my opinion, the boots without the rings create a whole different look than with them, and the different colors give off a different feel as well. I think maybe because of the texture - whatever it is, it works well.

Kakaue is fairly new to our sim, although not new to the grid. Kakaue's shoes are taking a new direction now that they are made from sculpties, and by the look of the work and detail of this new style, I think we all should keep an eye on this designer. Fashionable Relay Challenge

/me grabs the Petal Purse by Shiny Things from Chignon's post, runs then dives into the deep dark bottomless inventory. Tossing things left and right over my shoulder in search of the perfect items, I found myself actually sorting. O.O

Finally found my most favorite Chiffon pants from Daphne's store, ve.ne'ra.re. Layered delicate material forms the bootleg-like bottom which just gives you feeling of 'oh so sophisticated and dressy' yet casual and comfortable. I love these pants.

Next, I needed a top that would do all the pants do and in a great color. When I think of soft, light, beautiful detail and textures that make you believe you could wear them in RL, I think Zaara. So, I found my Zaara folder and pleasantly surprised my self with the Kavi top that I had forgotten I had. Wooot! I can't have Zaara pass through my thoughts and not remember how I first found her. The jewelry, sigh, I remember being so excited and IM'ing or TP'ing in friends to show them all my new discovery. Therefore, I just had to wear the Kaya onyx silver set to compliment my ensemble.

Back to the item I picked to relay, the Shiny Things Petal Purse. I have to be honest and tell you I had already bought this the day before, so I was very excited to see it as one of my options. I have every posible flower from Fallingwater so there was no doubt I had to get this the minute I heard about it, loving her flowers as I do. Then my friend Ponk asked me if I was carrying a big tongue around and now, I can't see the petal, I see a big tongue. Its a great tongue though, and I carry my tongue with much pride thank you very much. :p

To go along with my tongue I needed the Shiny things Plainers, because well, because they are awesome and they are open toed but you can't see my SLeet. *smiles* I like that.

Moving along to the hair, I have one thing to say, try on before you judge. I never have been a Minnu person, oops I mean a LeLutka person but this [LeLutka] Peta hair has been on my head for days now. What is up with all the name changing everyone is doing? You know how long it took me to get to learn all these names to begin with, geeze. I also didn't want to sport new Maitreya hair like everyone and their sister, I will wait a bit and then bring it out and start the wave again LOL.

As promised, I bring you the next shoe from the one and only Jimmy Chau. These are delicious beauties, as we would only expect from Jimmy.

The Surudoi is a pointy toed slinky, ultra high stiletto. As all of his shoes they are fully sculpted and hand textured. I have to say here, that I am not a pointy toed type girl myself, but the point on the toe is very umm subtle or something, I cannot pinpoint exactly, but I like them. It might have something to do with the way Jimmy's shoes fit me so well. When I try on a demo and look at both feet, wow do you see the great fit. I was going to post a picture to show you, but I don't want to show something negative about another designers shoes because believe me I love all of the shoes in my inventory. No bias here, I want all the shoes on the grid.

Shoes, shoes, OMG shoes! Those of you that know me, know how I am with shoes, I LOVEEEEE SHOES. Now I am in heaven, as we have two new shoe designers here at Flawless/Corrupted Innocence, and can we say YUMMY!

Today, I bring you Mr. Jimmy Chau (ha ha I know, I know, cute huh), well so are his creations. You will want to lick these shoes. Jimmy is an experienced 3D modeler and graphic designer. He has always been an admirer of shoe design and has come to a point in his life where he has the opportunity to explore that with his 3D and graphic talent. Therefore, WE reep the benefits! YAY!

He currently has 5 different styles out and each comes in 4 different colors. But he is cranking out new colors and more designs as we speak. So, I am going to show you what is available thus far, then I will keep you posted on new releases as they come. Sound good? Shoooooes! *bounces*

First up is the Bettie, a super high heel sculpted ankle boot with zipper and tab detailing, made in shiny patent leather.

Lily is the classic stiletto of the group, the shape of the toe has such a gradual curve it will make both round toe lovers and square toe lovers BOTH happy.

The Cougar is for those wild nights, for when you want to add some extra spice to your look.

Miki is for you wedge lovers out there.

Yumiko brings a little more of a warmer weather look with the open toe design.

We both offer a wide range of shapes including caucasian, Asian, African, Egyptian, Hispanic, and other nationalities for both males and females. We each also have our own line of skin. They will be sold on the new sim. Some of the male skins as well as the Egyptian shapes can be found at the new sim already.

I would like to present a gift of FREE SKIN and FREE CLOTHES to all group members as a thank you to you all, for Valentine's day. You will find these gifts at both the Shapes by Kira main store at Flawless and the Corrupted Innocence store on the Corrupted Innocence sim. We have a new line of shapes to show you. This is the Egyptian line created for the upcoming Digital Alchemy’s Egypt-inspired exhibit at the Rezzable's King sim.

Hi, well I had to do this challenge from Achariya because I do feel that if we blog the same thing, the way in which it is expressed by each of us will be different. That difference could be what makes you stop and look or it might spark a idea for a new outfit or whatever. I personally have never been bothered by repeat posts (I may have missed one anyway), mostly I am just happy to see other ideas and creativity. Plus, seeing a item on other avatars, many times helps me decide if want it or not. I could have thought I didn't like something until I saw it on someone else in their blog. See, each persons expression of something could mean all the difference. *sticks tongue out* :)

Ex-Pose - Capture Some Romance To Your Second Life

We have a new pose store on the grid and they have the most adorable couple poses. Ex-pose has the goal to capture the softer, sweeter, more tender side of Second Life couples. It is a collaborative effort from Chaddi Masala and Milli Santos.

Ex-pose does custom orders as well as adjustments to your poses if you need this service. I found these poses to be very well made, and I think they have achieved their goal of romantic and sweet by far.

If you are a creator, and would like to use any Ex-Pose poses in your items, they do offer full perm animations too, just contact them.

Moody Bare Follow Up

After trying the ColorPic in different environmental settings in SL, we have discovered that it works best with the Redgrave preset light settings. For a copy of the settings, please visit the Redgrave store or stop by Shapes by Kira where we have conveniently placed the settings in a box for you to pick up at the landing point.

Moody Bare Lovers Tip

Today we decided to share a little tool with those of you, like Kira and I, who love their new Moody Bare feet. If you are one of the lucky ones that has a Mac instead of a PC, you already have a similar tool. This is a tool for PC users who want to match your skin tone to your new feet easily, and it is FREE!

It is called ColorPic and all you do is mouse over the color you want to match and then type the RGB code into the Moody menu. To get to that menu click your foot and the menu comes up, click the skin button> control freak >direct input and enter the RGB numbers. If the number is only 2 didgets, put a zero first. Here are some pictures of my skin match job, and a screenshot of the ColorPic program. I am sure many of you already know this stuff, but for those that don't it is a lot easier then trying to adjust the color via the +/-, in my opinion.

Dear Friends,

As we come to the end of 2008, I look back at this past year and think of all of the people that I have met and all of the people who have touched my life in some way. I am so fortunate to work in a place that I love, surrounded by people I love, doing things that I love to do. I would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you. Thank you for being part of my life. If you have not gotten the free skin and lingerie and shoes that I have out in my main store at Shapes by Kira on the Flawless sim, please do. They are part of the Peace on Earth hunt which ends on December 26. Also, if you join my group, I will be handing out a dress in a card to everyone on December 24. Armoire-Diversity Challenge

Well, Kira and I decided we could do the Armoire-Diversity Challenge easily seeing that Kira dresses male shapes all the time. Well, I still found it pretty challenging...Its hard to look good in alot of the mens clothing out there o.O

Here is Kira's, of course she spent like 2 minutes dressing and looks totally awesome. Great job on the photo too.

Here are mine, I did have fun doing this challenge, I would see guys that looked good and I would inspect his prims and head to that store lol. So I am not going to give names of where I got the stuff, because I didn't keep track. I went through so many different outfits, If you see something you want to know where it came from, just IM or email me, I will look it up for you.

WINTER @ BARE ROSE

I had time to do another tribute to Bare Rose for the week long Rosebud challenge that Winter challenged us to do. YAY! I decided to do Christmas/winter themed outfits this time since tis the season fa la la. The red santa outfit I dug out of the big, scary, very deep inventory from last year. The other is the recently released 'Clausy' which I did not want to take off, it is soooo adorable! Clausy comes in blue, red and black.

Thank you June Dion for all the creativity you provide us, the multiple color choices and the awesome prices. Thank you Winter for reminding us and having us celebrate the often overlooked in our blogs but never forgotten in our second lifes, Bare Rose.

BARE WINTER-THE ROSEBUD CHALLENGE

There is only one vampire in my Second Life, A dreamy well dressed, gentleman vampire who is also a very dear friend named Winter. As you probably know by now, Winter has given all bloggers a challenge to celebrate Bare Rose. This is an opportunity to do something for the vampire who gave me his favorite fangs, even if he didn't mean to. Also, this gave me an excuse to go check out the newness at Bare Rose. I don't make it there often because I know I will be there for hours looking at all the awesome stuff for such a good price. I too was under the belief that there were more then one creator of all this quality, especially with such diversity, so all I can say is WOW! June Dion holds a magnitude of talent, and very much deserves this appreciation week, Thank you June! Here is my choice to show the grid.

This is the TRADurian outfit and it comes five colors; blue, pink, purple, grey and red. I of course chose the pink *grins* I cannot even tell you how many compliments I have gotten, I didn't want to take it off.

Shaping Up Your Second Life - IT'S TIME! 12AM SLT

Ok, the time has finally come for our grand re-opening of Flawless! YAY! I hope you all come check us out, there are some great designers here, one whom I will be showing you some of his creations in this post.

For the opening event we have a fantastic hunt with great free goodies to be found. You will find things like skins, shapes, hair and clothes from different designers (yes I said skins).

In addition to all that, Kira has put out 20 items from Last Call and Moderno to be had by the first to find them! Midnight, my little hunters, be there or be square. *giggles*

I am very excited to tell you about our first designer i am blogging about, Kwamey Pinion of Soreal. OMG his stuff is absolutely amazing, I find myself unable to stop looking at them for long periods of time. Any of you that have seen me in the last week or so knows that I have been wearing a backpack and tennis shoes (me not in heels you say, I know, but wait til you see these!)

Kwamey designed the "SOREAL Superstars" after his all-time favorite sneaks in real life, and wow did he nail it. These are so realistic looking as are his backpacks. The sculpture work and the textures are just, magnificent! They come in a variety of colors, and you can buy a single pair or a mega pack which includes three exclusive colors only available with the mega pack. To top it off, they are priced very reasonable at just 399L a pair. Here, take a look for yourself, if you haven't seen Kwammy's work, you are in for a treat.

Shaping Up Your Second Life - Next Round

Hi everyone, *waves* I am back and as promised I have more great shapes to show you! After this I am going to be posting again right away to tell you more about the grand re-opening of Flawless next weekend. We have LOTS of goodies planned for you, you will not want to miss out on these, trust me. Okay, Lets take a look at more of the awesome work Kira has done!

The following shapes were all created for the newest line of skins from Fashioncentric Soda. The skins are young looking and the shapes that were created especially to go with each skin reflect that youthfulness. Though the shapes were created for the Fashioncentric Soda skin line, they all went through the rigorous skin tests that all Shapes by Kira shapes must pass. You can be sure that any skin you wear on these shapes will look fantastic.

First up we have Julia "The Sorority Sister" - Julia is sweet and preppy and ready for a pajama party with her girlfriends. She has a petite frame and a perky look. As the popular girl in college, she is the one that everyone wants to get to know.

Next is Kara "THE Princess" - Kara is a pretty princess that you read about in fairy tales. She likes pink and frilly things and always minds her manners. She is kind and attracts all the princes in the land. She is intelligent and has a love for all creatures great and small.

Then we have Alice "The Mistress" - Alice is the woman you don't want your partner to hire as his assistant. She looks as sweet and innocent as the girl next door. But deep down, she is on the hunt for her next big catch. She is tall and curvy in all the right places.

Last but not least is Cecily "The Vixen" - Cecily is the most popular shape created for the line. She is the woman that other women envy and men desire. She has a voluptuous body and kissable lips and the ability to wrap men around her finger with just a glance.

I'm really excited about the new Soda skins too. Okay kids, I will be back very soon with more info on the re-opening and what kinds of things you may find for FREE! I also am going to tell you about the other designers we have here at Flawless and maybe give you a sneak peek at some of their work - check back soon!!

Welcome to our new blog here at Shapes By Kira

My name is Tesa Jewell and I will be your host or blogger or oh whatever you want to call it. *Giggles* I thought about how to write this blog a lot and finally decided that the blogs I most enjoy are the ones that just feel as if I am chatting with them, so, that is how I am going to do mine as well. :P Therefore, expect emotes and my sense of humor here and there. I am very excited to take on this job for several reasons but number one is all the great work I get to show you from the designers here at Flawless. Trust me, you are going to see some real goodies, and not just shapes. We have a wide range of items that I will show you in the coming weeks.

Our Current location at Flawless is preparing for the grand re-opening on our new build and we would like to invite all of you to join us!
