Hi everyone!
First of all, I would like to tell you that I have created an outfit in the spirit of giving to help aid the Relay for Life. You can find the free outfit near the RFL kiosks at both Shapes by Kira on the Flawless sim and the Corrupted Innocence store on Corrupted Innocence. Donations are not necessary to receive the gift, but they are greatly appreciated.
Now, about that job! Corrupted Innocence is seeking designers for the new Corrupted Innocence sim. Corrupted Innocence is dedicated to quality merchendise in various forms. At this time, we do not need any more skin, shape, shoe, or furniture designers. If you are a designer and would like to be a part of our team, please come and look at the store, first. Then, please submit a notecard to Kira Paderborn containing your name, your store name, and the types of products that you sell, along with a full perm ad from your store (I would like to see your vendor art, please.) by no later than Friday March 20, 2009 at 8pm SLT. After looking at the applications, you may be asked to submit a design to Kira Paderborn to be further considered. If you think your items will fit in on the Corrupted Innocence sim, and you are dedicated to quality, I would love to hear from you!
Thanks so much!
Kira Paderborn

The Armoire: A Jewelry Showcase
I attended the Press Preview of The Armoire: A Jewelry Showcase where I viewed beautiful new jewelry from Balderdash, .::eyecandy::., KessKreations, Muse, and Violet Voltaire. All I can say is WOW! What a treat it was to see the gorgeous shiny jewels displayed, these ladies have so much talent and eye for awesome design. I of course came with lindens in my hand, ready to shop and I did just that. I plan on returning to get some of the goodies from Eyecandy, she is torturing us and making us wait to get our hands on them. Makes for a nice excuse to going back anyway hehe. So, because it is almost 3AM and I have a full RL day again tomorrow, this is going to be quick and to the pictures of what I bought. Thank you for a lovely time, I ran into many friends, met a few new ones, and got new pretty shiny sparkly yummys, can't beat that.
Here is a little bit about the event for those of you that haven't heard about it yet, it's not just a jewelry show *grins*
For five days (March 18 - 22), you are invited to a special trunk-show designed to showcase finely crafted jewelry. Five designers (Candy Cerveau, Caliah Lyon, Violet Voltaire, Kesseret Steeplechase, and Saiyge Lotus) have created a mystical labyrinth with living dioramas that reflect the moods of their collections. In each of these rooms, models will showcase these jeweler's wares, with a pavilion for purchases nestled at the center of the maze. The Journeyman's Quest is the hunt challenge within this event, yielding jewelry (including limited edition items) for the tenacious journeyman jeweler. See jewelry in a way that you haven't before!
Event Duration: March 18th 9 am SLT through March 22nd 10 pm SLT (constant)

New Skins [[FAD]]
Today I would like to introduce a new skin designer, Aliza Rascon, creator of [[FAD]] Skins. I have been watching Aliza work on her skins for many months now, and let me tell you, she is very hard on herself. The fact that she has finally released some of her creations is reason to celebrate. There have been many that didn't meet her standards, although they certainly met mine. I guess my point is that she is very particular, which I think is a good trait to have in a designer, and especially in a skin designer. I mean this is our SKIN, we need perfection right?
What I also want to show you here is how different the same skin looks on different shapes. This picture shows 2 avatars both wearing the same [[FAD]] skin! So come and try out a demo and see how they look on you.
[[FAD]] skins are available now at Corrupted Innocence and Flawless

Feed us! - InQ Connections by QGroup
Just a quick post to spread the word and to thank QGroup for providing us with another feed. Since the announcement of Fashion Planet closing down, many wondered what they would do, where they would get their blog fix. Well, many jumped on right away and did something about it. Q Group is one that has picked up the pieces and is pulling together a solution. YAY! The construction of InQ Connections is different in that it has sections and categories for the news to roll into making it easier to read about what you want to read about. There are three main sections; fashion, nightlife and home goods. Then each is divided again for even more specific items such as review blogs, designer blogs, etc. AND THEN, into sections by items like skin, hair, and shoes. Whew, just take a look mkay? www.InQConnections.com
